We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to assist a male individual with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including proficiency in ASL (deaf services), and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

The client is seeking a legal basement suite featuring large windows and a walk-out in NW Calgary only.

The role emphasizes community engagement and daily activities, including attending appointments and supporting meaningful outings. The individual values companionship and would appreciate assistance with meal preparation and cooking.

Please note that the client has a service dog, so comfort working in a pet-friendly environment is required.

Requirements:
• Requirements include a diploma in Rehabilitation or the Social Sciences and/or 2 years experience working with behaviours.
• A valid Emergency First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration certification is required.
• A current police clearance check is REQUIRED upon interview.
• Occasional driving of the client is required with 2 million liability coverage.
