Resicare Society of Calgary is currently seeking an experienced candidate to provide a Support Home to an older male individual with developmental disabilities. He is ambulatory and uses a walker. He enjoys playing cards, he likes trains, Harley Davidson motorcycles and trucks.
We are looking for a Bungalow home in NW Calgary. Preferably a couple with no kids. The home should be available during the day as the client has 3 hrs/day
funding for his day program Wed. – Fri. The client has Respite every other weekend. Client requires the bedroom and bathroom with shower (no bathtub) on the main floor.
This position will start January 2, 2027.
A diploma or equivalent formal education in Rehabilitation Services, Social Services and 2 year experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities. A valid First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration certificate is required. A current police clearance check is REQUIRED UPON INTERVIEW. Candidate must drive and have a valid class 5 driver’s license.
